Raised around tailoring tables and fabric markets, the next generation transformed that legacy into a contemporary design language shaped through experimentation and fearless individuality.

From sourcing leftover fabrics across Mumbai to designing custom pieces worn across colleges and fashion circles, Mode De Base grew through belief, persistence, and an uncompromising approach to design. Even after early criticism and failed collections, the vision remained unchanged:
to create distinctive fashion beyond convention.

From a 50 sq. ft. space, the brand introduced uncommon fabrics, refined fits, and fusion silhouettes that slowly built a loyal following across the country.

What began as a silent Mumbai fashion house evolved into a globally influenced label shaped through Italian refinement, Russian boldness, and British structure.
Registered officially in 2007 and brought online in 2017, Mode De Base continues to create limited, one-of-a-kind pieces designed through craftsmanship, individuality, and contemporary fusion fashion.
